When my kids were little, I didn’t spend much time shopping for myself. Trying to keep kids calm while I looked, taking them into a dressing room, and then having to make a quick decision on an item was just not enjoyable. As a busy mom of older kids, I still don’t like to spend time looking at racks of clothes and trying things on in a dressing room.
My husband and I joined Stitch Fix in March 2017 (check out Finding Style with Stitch Fix to read about how it works). We love getting a box with new clothes and being able to try them on in the comfort of our home. With Stitch Fix, you can mix and match with items you already own and try new styles. You can choose how often you want to receive a fix (manually choose a date or automatically ship every 1-3 months). Keep what you want and send back anything you don’t (with free shipping both ways). This month, I did a little preview on my Facebook page when I got my Fix.
What I Kept
I loved this blouse when I took it out of the box. The colors and print are totally my style. It was the perfect top for family pictures. The fabric is lightweight, so I added a white shirt underneath.
What I Returned
We took family pictures one day, and then I did the rest of my pictures a few days later. The weather was not cooperating, hence the windblown hair. 🙂 I liked the colors of this shirt and I didn’t mind the pattern. It was also comfortable on, but I decided not to keep it.
I really like the green stripe of this shirt, but I was just not fond of the elbow patches. My teenage daughter really tried to get me to keep it for her, but I decided to return it.
If you are wondering about the jeans, they are from my August Stitch Fix. I have actually never owned a pair of boots before. Shocking I know! I usually only wear running shoes, but I decided to up my style game this year and pay a pair of boots. You can find them on Amazon.
I wasn’t sure of this dress when I pulled it out of the box. I didn’t mind the pattern and I really liked the colors, the length, and the price. I just wasn’t loving the top or how the fabric was gathered on the shoulders. The style card showed it with a jean jacket which I think would be really cute.
I was a little disappointed with the pants because they were too small. They did have some stretch to them, so I might have been able to squeeze into them. I didn’t want to risk it, so back they went.

I love the floral top! This post was well put together an I like how you added the video. I love Stitch Fix. I have been trying to add a section on it to my site but it does not look as clean as yours! And, I feel awkward getting my picture taken! If you have any advice,I’d be glad to take it!

Thank you! I always feel a little awkward doing videos and taking pictures but it gets easier the more you do. To set up a section, just add a category to your menu and then assign the post to that category. If you want to add Stitch Fix reviews to your blog, make sure you sign up as an influencer. They give you 10 days instead of 3 to review clothes and you get other perks for referrals. Happy to help if you have any questions.
