In July 2018, Stitch Fix introduced Stitch Fix for Kids. My two younger daughters were so excited to try it, and I was excited to not spend as much time back to school shopping. 🙂 We waited for a couple weeks to sign up, so my girls ended up getting their Fixes near the end of August/early September. This review is for my 11-year old daughter, Sara.
Stitch Fix Kids is similar to Stitch Fix for adults. I added each girl to my account and then filled out a profile for each one. Stitch Fix Kids offers sizes 2T-14, and each kid box comes with 8-12 items that are priced $10-35. I love that Stitch Fix realizes that kids grow fast and kept the price of items reasonable. There is a $20 style fee for each box that is used as a credit on anything you keep. Each of my daughters received 10 items in their Fix along with a fun activity sheet and stickers.

Not familiar with Stitch Fix? Check out my post-Finding Style with Stitch Fix to read about how it works. We love getting a box of new clothes and being able to try them on in the comfort of our home. With Stitch Fix, you can mix and match with items you already own and try new styles. Keep what you want and send back anything you don’t (with free shipping both ways). There is no minimum purchase, and you can choose how often you want to receive a fix (automatically ship every 1-3 months or manually choose a date). We love getting clothes that fit great and look fabulous without a lot of effort.
What She Kept
This blue top was one of Sara’s favorites from her Fix. The color is so pretty on her and she loved the design of the shirt.
Sequin graphics seem to be the rage among girls lately. Sara and I both loved this top as soon as we saw it, so it was definitely a keeper.
I wasn’t too sure if she would like this top, but Sara loved the color and design of this top too.
Unicorns are also quite popular right now. Sara loved the color of this tee shirt and the unicorn decal, so it was a keeper too.
What She Returned
Although these shorts were kind of cute, they were really short. Especially on this tall 11-year-old.
This hood was definitely cute and Sara would have liked to keep it, but I was trying to stay within a budget. She thought the rainbow and unicorn decals were cute and the hoodie itself was comfy.
These leggings were great quality and made of a thicker material that wouldn’t get holes in it easily. Sara liked them, but the price was more than I wanted to pay for a pair of leggings.
Sara decided to have a little fun with this pose. 😆 She also liked this hoodie, but it seemed a little small on her. We probably could have exchanged it for another size, but she didn’t love it enough to really want to keep it.
My daughters love anything with flip sequins. This sweater was fun because you could change the color of the heart depending on which way you flipped the sequins. Since she liked the other sequin top a little better, we decided to send this one back.
We liked that these leggings were also great quality and priced well, but they were a little small on her. Since we had stocked up on other leggings during a back to school shopping trip, she decided not to exchange these either.
This was a great Fix for Sara and I was really impressed with Stitch Fix Kids. With the exception of the shorts, Sara would have loved to keep everything. I do have both of my daughters’ accounts set to manual so I can pick the date of their next Fixes. They are already excited to get another one for Christmas.😃 If you would like to learn more about Stitch Fix, check out my post-Finding Style with Stitch Fix or check out the Stitch Fix website.
