Hello friends! It has been WAY TOO LONG since I posted a recipe. After many months of looking for a full-time job, I finally found one and life is getting back into a routine. As a working mom, time is harder to find so I have been focusing on being more intentional in my life. One area that I am trying to focus on is regularly posting again on my blog and social media. Since we are well into October, our favorite gluten-free pumpkin chocolate chip muffins sounded perfect to share. [Read more…]
Oreo Cereal Treats
Last fall, my daughter was begging me to make rice crispy treats. They are not my favorite dessert, but I am always happy to make something my kids’ request. After a pantry search yielded very expired Rice Crispies (gross!), we looked at what else would work. We had a box of Oreo O’s, so we decided to give them a try. Super easy and so good! This is now our go-to cereal treat recipe! [Read more…]
Instant Pot Loaded Baked Potato Soup
It seems like every recipe I share is a family favorite.😂 Well, I guess we just have a lot of favorites, and today I am excited to introduce you to our favorite potato soup. I have been making this recipe in the crockpot for several years (adapted from THIS one) and decided it was time to convert it to my Instant Pot. It only took 30 minutes start to finish and was delicious!

Parmesan Garlic Breadsticks
Many years ago I found this recipe for breadsticks in a cookbook, and it quickly became a family favorite. We have tried other recipes throughout the years but always come back to this one. It is simple and delicious with only a few ingredients. This batch makes about 12 breadsticks in two 9×13 pans, but you can easily half the recipe if you need less. [Read more…]
Chocolate Hug Cookies
I came across this cookie recipe years ago on Pinterest, and it has been a favorite ever since. They are chewy and fudgy and absolutely wonderful. Topped with a Hershey hug or candy cane kiss makes them the perfect holiday cookie. [Read more…]

My mom always made this recipe for Thanksgiving when I was a kid. I liked it ok, but to be honest, it was not my favorite. As I got older, I grew to love this side dish and now I look forward to it each Thanksgiving. [Read more…]
Campfire Marshmallow Eclairs
Camping season is underway, so I wanted to share one of our favorite camping recipes. We made them on our first camping trip many years ago and they quickly became a family favorite. After many years of camping, we sold our camp trailer last summer but we still like to make these Marshmallow Eclairs in our backyard firepit. [Read more…]
Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies
To me, the perfect chocolate chip cookie is soft and chewy with just the right amount of chocolate. I have tried different recipes for chocolate chip cookies over the years but never found a favorite. One day, I made some small changes to a recipe that I found on the back of a bag of store brand chocolate chips, and I finally found our family favorite. They are simple to make and turn out perfect every time!
Absolutely Amazing Chicken Enchiladas
Whenever we eat at a Mexican restaurant, 95% of the time I will order chicken enchiladas. I do branch out and try new things occasionally, but I know chicken enchiladas are always good. Through the years, I have tried many enchilada recipes at home and they were good. Then I came across the recipe for Homemade Red Enchilada Sauce from Gimme Some Oven and all we could say was WOW! Of course, I made some modifications to it to make it my own, and it is HANDS DOWN the most amazing red enchilada sauce that you will ever taste. I will NEVER buy another can of red enchilada sauce again because this sauce is so easy and so amazing. [Read more…]
Blueberry Muffins
Years ago, I saw this pin on Pinterest for copycat Costco Muffins. We decided to try the recipe for blueberry muffins but had to make some modifications. I usually only have yellow cake mixes on hand, so we used that instead of a white cake mix. A few years ago, cake mix companies shrunk the size of cake mixes from 18 oz. down to 15 oz. To make up the difference, we increased the flour. Then we added a delicious streusel to the top and our favorite easy blueberry muffins were born. [Read more…]
